hey, how is everyones week going? jesse was awesome on monday. if you missed, you suck. his word was just what i needed. it is amazing how much a good laugh does for you. i am reminded of the verse in Proverbs where it talks about a cheerful heart does good like medicine. it is cool how he can have such a good word, and make you crack up at the same time. i was hoping to go to shuttlesworth last night but couldnt get off work early. heard he was really good though. not sure what else to say.

until next time

girls are stupid. let me rephrase that some girls are stupid. yeah, so i have this supposed friend that has been talking crap behind my back. which first of all is not cool. secondly its not even remotely true. luckily my friend she has been spreading these stupid lies to knows me well and doesnt believe her. that in itself itsnt to smart. if you are going to say crap behind somebodies back dont do it to a close friend of theirs. you can almost guarantee that that person will say something. wheres a gun when you need it. so that almost ruined my whole day. luckily after that i found out that one of my favorite bands, sleeping at last,  is coming to town in nov. i have been wanting to see them forever but they havent came through kansas city yet. if you dont have their cd pick it up, you wont be disappointed. later

hola! how is everyones weekend going? mine is going descent. i had a fun weekend. all i did was hang out with friends. sunday i finally made it up to the plaza art fair. by the time i got there they had already started putting everything away. didnt get to see much. that sucked i was looking forward to seeing some good art. that night i went to the gathering. which is a young adults ministry at heatland community church. that was the second time i had gone, and both times the worship has been really good. i havent heard the main speaker yet, both times they had quest speakers. hopefully i will be able to get sundays off pretty soon so i can start going regularly. the people there seem really nice too. i hate to go to places and every is in their own click and doesnt talk to you. then last night i went to a friends house and watched the chiefs get wasted. it was fun though and good food. started a new book today, Jesus Among Other Gods, havent read it enough to say if it is good or not but it was recommended by a good source so i am sure it is. if you have the devotional Experiencing God you should read todays passage. it is nothing that i havent heard before it is just something nice to be reminded of. it is taking 1 Peter 5:7 and expanding on that verse. if you dont have Experiencing God here is a passage from it, "Casting our cares is a choice. It means consciously handing over our anxiety to Christ and allowing Him to carry the weight of our problems. At times this is the most difficult part of trusting God! We dont like turning over our responsibility for our problems. We have been taught that self-reliance is good and praiseworthy. We may even enjoy worrying. Yet if we are to be freed from the burden of our concerns, we must choose to cast them into strong hands of our Father." if you dont have that devotional you should get it. i am looking for another one so if anyone has any recomemdations tell me. right now i am reading that and My Utmost for His Highest. hope the rest of the week is good for everyone.

1 Peter 5:7 "Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you."

until next time

hola! hope everyones weekend went good. i got off of work early tonight....whoohoo! i am already wanting another tattoo. they are addicting. maybe the first of the year i will get another one or maybe longer. zorg wants me to get manteca across my stomach. which i like the idea. i am not sure why but manteca sounds like a superhero. wonder what his powers would be? zorg hasnt been talking to much lately. he is saying he was being suppressed, but nobody listens to him anyone. he is doing good. i am kind of hyper which sucks because i have homework to do and have to go to the grocery store. maybe i will go run it off or something. no clue what else to say.
